Parvana By Deborah Ellis In Afghanistan the girls are not aloud to go in a school and the women are not aloud outside without there husbands with them. The women and girls have to cover every part of there body including there face.This book tells you how a girl called Parvana lives in Afghanistan with her family but then here dad gets taken to jail and she is the only one in the family that could look like a boy. Parvana cuts her hair so she looks like a boy and then wears her big brothers clothes who had died in a land mine when she was born. Parvana takes her dads job which is to read letters and write letters. This book is a very good book and I recommended this book to every body I would rate this book 10/10

Wow! It’s 2010 goodbye junior school and hello senior school. Stepping into the senior school was a big surprise. A felt a burst of confidence when I came into room 23.

I am hoping that this year will make a difference in my maths. I would also like to step up in my spelling.

Last year I joined all the sporting groups I hope to carry on with all the awesome tournaments, hopefully they will be more exciting than last years, I’m sure they will be.

I look forward to Kapa Haka this year and technicraft. It is going to be awesome being able to do woodwork, cooking, ICT with Mr Eames, Science with Miss Berry, French with Mr Bird, and sewing.

I really like having Mr Eames and I think that I will learn a lot from him this year.

SCHOOL!!!!!

I am in room 23 this year which is really cool i have been having Mrs Milsmith for the last couple of days while Mr Eames had has his baby boy. I look forward to all the task Mr Eames

will set up for my class and I. I am now learning how to ride a unicycle which is pretty cool.

I am really looking forward to do all the cool activates this year .
