Parvana
By Deborah Ellis
In Afghanistan the girls are not aloud to go in a school and the women are not aloud outside without there husbands with them. The women and girls have to cover every part
of
there body including there face. This book tells you how a girl called Parvana lives in Afghanistan with her family but then here dad gets taken to jail and she is the only one
in the family that could look like a boy. Parvana cuts her hair so she looks like a boy and then wears her big brothers clothes who had died in a land mine when she was born. Parvana takes her dads job which is to read letters and write letters.
This book is a very good book and I recommended this book to every body I would rate this book
10/10
